Masjid dan Risalahnya

Bagi kaum Muslim, masjid bukan tempat khusus bagi para rahib, bukan pojok tersendiri bagi para pemalas, bukan pula tempat tersendiri bagi kaum santri. Tidak ada lembaga kerahiban dalam Islam. A Guideline for Islamic Governance

Kalau kita kaji secara mendalam keseluruhan ajaran agama baik yang bersifat kewajiban maupun larangan, semuanya bermuara pada satu tujuan yaitu melahirkan akhlak yang mulia pada diri para pelakunya. Nabi Saw. sendiri menyimpulkan keseluruhan risalah yang dibawanya dalam sebuah term: makârim al-akhlâq, akhlak yang mulia. “Aku diutus untuk menyempurnakan akhlak yang mulia.”[1]
